Two of Each

Two of Each

A forearm bowing action with flexible hand and fingers helps you play with a clear resonant sound in both the slurred and détaché notes.

Combined bowings with two notes slurred and two notes separate can be found throughout the violin repertoire. They occur in Mozart's violin concertos, for example the 1st movement of Concerto in D Major, Bar 73.

This excerpt is from School of Velocity by Hans Sitt.
