Slurred Across All Strings

Slurred Across All Strings

This is a whole-arm string-crossing action. It helps to notice the rise and fall of the upper arm, and to feel the arm and hand moving together as one unit.

Move across the strings with no added bowstrokes.
Add just enough bowstroke to make the notes sound.
Play more slowly, which will require more bowstroke.

The string-cross action remains the same in all three examples....
